Fun & Funny Facts About Alexandra

Since most of you don't get to see Alexandra very often I thought it would be fun to share some tidbits on what she likes and dislikes.

LIKES
Favorite Thing to Do: Read, Read, Read. (She is a major bookworm, just like her mommy.)
Favorite Food: Strawberries (In one sitting she has eaten as many as 18 strawberries!)
Favorite Animal: Dogs
Favorite word to say right now: Book (We were surprised she didn't say this word sooner.)
What she can't live without: Her blankie.
What we think she might be when she grows up: A veterinarian, a housekeeper or a librarian. (Between her love for dogs, her need to be clean and to help me with all cleaning, and her love for books its a toss up!)

DISLIKES
Biggest Pet Peeve: Being dirty (I never knew that at this age they could already have a pet peeve.)
Least Favorite Food: Any green vegetable (She refuses to eat. Somehow they know when something is a vegetable. If I put a desert she has never seen before in her life she will always dig right into it. Anything green, no way! She is just like her Dad!)

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year with Alexandra. I didn't do anything with her last year because she was only 9 months old. This year she dressed up and went trick-or-treating. And oh she looked just sooooo cute. We dressed her up as a dog since she loves them so much. I had only planned on taking her trick-or-treating to her Grandparents house and then maybe 3 or 4 other houses but she was loving it so much we were out there for almost 40 minutes. Every time we would go up to a house and get some candy they would shut the door and she would turn and tell me, "more, more!" Its her latest word she has learned; what perfect timing! She didn't quite understand why she couldn't eat every single piece of candy when it was given to her.

People always told me to really cherish the first few years of my kid(s) life because they grow up so fast. They couldn't have been more right. Watching her walk from house to house trick-or-treating, I couldn't believe how big she seemed. She is quickly becoming my little girl and not my little baby.
