Here is a picture of our new house! I started an album and will add more to it over the next few days as I pick up from Christmas. Right now it is just pictures of the outside of the house and Alexandra's room. We are going to paint her room the light turquoise color that is in her bedspread. I can't wait to paint and start decorating her walls.

We had a great Christmas this year with Nick's family. We spent all Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with them. Everybody stayed at our house for those two days. On Christmas Eve we did it Marco style with all the fish and singing. On Christmas Day Nick's Mom made a yummy brunch and dinner. Christmas was so much fun with Alexandra. She put out cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer on Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning once she saw that Santa had brought her a kitchen playset she had no interest in her presents, all she wanted to do was play with her new kitchen. She has been playing with it non-stop ever since. I can imagine that each Christmas will get more and more fun with her as her understanding and excitement about Santa grows.

We plan on having a very low-key New Years this year. My Aunt Pat arrives on the first and will be here for a month or so until I have the baby. We are looking forward to spending time with her. Later in January my Dad comes for his yearly monthly winter visit. We can't wait to see him too. Before we know the baby is going to be here too! We can hardly believe it!

34 Weeks

Here I am at 34 weeks! I can't believe I only have 6 weeks left to go. I had a doctor's appointment today and got to have an ultrasound and see the little guy. He looks great and is growing like he should, as am I.

We are officially living in our new house now and loving it! We still have a bit of unpacking to do but it already feels like home. Once we finish unpacking I will take some pictures of the new house and post them for everyone to see. Alexandra loves her new room and transitioned into a regular bed with no problems. I haven't had any middle of the night visits and right now she stays in her bed until we get her after a nap or in the morning. (I'm sure this will change eventually.)

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! We will spending ours here in Tampa with Nick's family.

Great news! We are finally moving into our new house next week! Yeah! We are so excited and so happy this process is done and we can just move in and enjoy the extra space. We close on Tuesday morning and the movers are moving our stuff in on Wednesday morning. Once we have a chance to get furniture put together we are going to put Alexandra in a bed! I can't believe it. I am really excited to start "tucking" her in at night. Hopefully the transition from crib to bed goes smoothly and I don't have too many middle of the night visits from her.

Alexandra is doing great. She was really sick with strep throat for about a week. I didn't know that they could get that this young but obviously they can. She is all better now and back to her old self. She is saying more and more words every week and they are becoming clearer and easier for someone other than me or her Dad to understand. We have started potty training again. I took a long break from it because she had no interest in sitting on it. She is back to wanting to sit on it all the time. She doesn't go to the bathroom but she likes to wipe herself with some toilet paper and flush it down the toilet.

I am still feeling great. I have my next doctors appointment on Thursday. I am having one more ultrasound. I can't wait.

My brother Tim and his wife Gina are due to have their baby boy any day now. We can't wait for him to make his arrival!

I am sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. It has been a very busy few weeks. We moved out of our townhouse so we are finally rid of it, yeah! We haven't moved into our new house yet, hopefully next week. We spent all last week in Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. It was great being home with everyone and Alexandra had a blast running around with her cousin Jaelynn.

I am now 31 weeks along. I can hardly believe that I have only about two months until this little guy makes his debut. Time flies. I am still feeling great so that is good. Hopefully it stays this way til he decides to make his entrance......
