A Copycat

This is a typical day in the life of Johnny. Basically all he does all day long is try to copy exactly what his sister is doing. So he will gladly let her dress him up. He thinks he is so cool now but I imagine when he is 16 and I show him these pictures he is not going to think it is cool or funny at all!

The Beach

So even though we live in Florida we rarely go to the beach. It is really far for us and the novelty wore off long ago. So we decided last week to take the kids to the beach. Johnny has never been and Alexandra hasn't gone since we went to Greece. Nick and I were so excited. We thought this was a great idea and the kids were going to have so much fun. We couldn't have been more wrong. Alexandra liked the sand for about 45 minutes but she didn't want to go anywhere near the water. She didn't even want her toes in it. Johnny hated everything about it. He didn't want to go in the water and he didn't like the sand. He basically cried the entire time we were there because there was no way to keep sand off his body. He wanted to dig with his sister but he didn't want it touching him, obviously impossible to do! After an hour of Johnny crying non-stop we decided just to get out of there! So one day we'll try it again but for now we'll stick to the pool!

Wisconsin - Krissy's Wedding & More

Alexandra was one of the flower girls. She looked like a little angel, soooo cute!

The beautiful bride. She was GORGEOUS!

Alex and J with Great Grandma, Aunt Brittany and Aunt Ashley

Cousins and bestfriends
Johnny is so excited that J and Alex were letting him play with them.  Thats all he wanted everyday that we were there was to be included.

We just returned home today from two amazing, fun weeks in Wisconsin.  Krissy got married.  She was a gorgeous bride and the wedding was soooo much fun! I was so sad when it was over.  We got to see so many family and friends with all the wedding festivities.  It was so great since it seems to be longer and longer between the times that we get to see everyone.  Alexandra had a blast with Jaelynn. They played everyday, all day long with each other.  I think she is going to be so bored at home now without her. Mommy isn't quite as fun and won't play all day long unfortunately!  Johnny loved J just as much but being the littlest one he got left out more often that not. Poor Johnny!

These are a few of my favorite pictures from our trip.  I have uploaded an album of all the cute pictures I took while we there in the usual spot to the right.

Babysitters

My mini-me, as Nick likes to say.

My busybody. I don't know why I even tried to pack when he was awake. It was impossible to get anything in the suitcase. Either he was getting in it or he was taking clothes out of it!

My sweetie pie, as cute as can be.

Nick and the kids survived while I was gone for 4 days for Krissy's bachelorette party. Alexandra actually told him while I was gone that he was the best babysitter and he should babysit more often! I had a great time hanging out with my sisters and mom for the weekend and enjoying Chicago. I miss living in that city! Glad I at least had the chance to live their for a couple of years. The bachelorette party was a blast. So sad it was the last one in the family.

We have been busy this week packing and getting ready to go to Wisconsin tomorrow. We are so excited. We will be up there for 2 weeks for Krissy's wedding! For those of you reading this blog that will be attending, can't wait to see you!

Hello!

Pudding Faces!

My snuggle bugs cuddling together.

All is good in the Lazaridis household. Johnny is understanding more and more everyday. He waves bye-bye now, shakes his head for no, and puts his finger up to his mouth and tries to say "ssh". All are too cute! Alexandra continues to expand her vocabulary trying to use words such as "unfortunately"! She is busy trying to keep her brother in line and away from her baby and toys.

I am headed to Chicago this weekend for Krissy's bachelorette party leaving the kids and Nick alone together to fend for themselves. I'm sure Nick's parents will make frequent visits over the weekend to check in!

Park and Bath time fun!

Chilling in his shades on the way to the park.

Sooooooo happy at the park!

Trying her skill on a balance beam at the park.

My bathtime cuties!

I have also finally uploaded an album of pictures in the usual spot from our trip to Wisconsin last month. I am counting down the days til we go home next month for Krissy's wedding. Still can't believe my littlest sister is getting married!

Johnny at Mealtime

The second child just does not want to be little. For a week now Johnny has started refusing food if I try to feed it to him. He only wants to feed himself. He wants his food on a plate like his sister and he has to have a fork or a spoon! This obviously results in very little food in his mouth and most of it in his lap, on his bib or all over his face. Here is a video from dinner tonight. As you will see he is a mess but is in heaven with his utensils!

I think I will be getting a camera for mother's day so I will soon be able to post pictures again. Yeah!
